OTA+ is now offering 3d printing service.

 

We will print your model in white, ABS plastic. Email us your model at info@otaplus.com and we will send you a free quote asap.

Model should be in .stl format and to scale. Our maximum print size is 8" x 6" x 6". If you would like a larger model, we will work with you to cut your model into parts, so you can glue them into one larger model.

Our machine uses a Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) process and builds .01" per layer thickness. Please be sure that your model's minimum wall thickness is greater than .04" or 1 mm to ensure proper build. We strongly recommend the minimum thickness of any columns or free-spanning members be 2 mm or more.

The ABS Plastic used by our printer is 40% stronger than typical ABS Plastic. It is very durable, slightly flexible and can be painted, glued and sanded.

 

Material cost is $1.25 per cubic cm (or $20.00 per cubic in) for model and support material + shipping and handling. We are currently printing in Austin, Texas, but will ship anywhere in the world.

 

We also provide consultation and modeling services, so even if you only have a sketch, we will work with you and build a 3d printed model of your design.
